What is your Style?
If you look through the gallery you will see multitudes of close up images focusing on the eyes, intense looks, and a simplicity that focuses on the subject with minimal use of props. Utilizing a studio environment much of the time, our style is far from photojournalistic. Instead focusing on creative use of shadows and light and using our years gleaned technical knowledge of our craft to create images you’ll be sure to fall in love with.
When is the best time to photograph my child?
Now! Don’t wait for that tooth to grow in or that skinned knee to heal. Isn’t that what capturing children the way they are at this moment is all about? My absolute favorite age to photograph is 6 months.
What about scheduling a Maternity and Newborn Session?
Recommended times for a maternity session are between week 32 & 36.
Newborn sessions are best scheduled before your baby is born, and Andrea will adjust accordingly to baby’s actual arrival date. Newborns photograph best when they are younger then 10 days old, preferrably around day 6 or 7.
What are your hours?
We hold sessions in the morning and early afternoon Tuesday through Friday. Saturdays are extremely limited and available for additional charge. We suggest you call a a few weeks ahead to book your session.
Can I buy digital images of the session?
Yes, we offer several Digital Image Collections and also individual digital images may be purchased along with your portrait order. All of the digital images we offer are individually and painstakingly adjusted for color, tone, clarity and basic retouching.
Do you photograph Weddings?
Sorry, weddings don’t fit in with our schedule.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes we do and we’d love for you to use it! For every referral that completes a session, you will receive an 8×10 of your choosing from a past or future session.
Do you have a minimum order?
Yes, due to the immense amount of time and personal attention we put into each and every session, there is a $300 minimum portrait investment. We have found that clients spend a wide range, so we recommend you come to your ordering appt. with an open mind. But whatever you choose to spend, remember that your portraits are heirlooms your family will treasure for years to come.
What if I’m not happy with my images?
We are proud to offer a satisfaction guarantee; if there is not one single image from your session that you absolutely love, we’ll strive to make it right and you’ll have the option of a follow-up session with same clothing choices or we’ll return your initial investment, no questions asked.
How do I choose which portraits I want to purchase?
Because we want you to be 100% satisfied with your portrait purchase, we personally walk you through the ordering process in our studio. We’ll schedule an ordering appointment about a week after your session to come back in to watch a slideshow on our big screen and sit down together and help you choose.
