Monthly Archives: May 2007

Its funny how session types come in waves. A few months ago it was a wave of maternities, and of course followed by a wave of newborns. This month its been a wave of 2 year old sessions. And what a fun age….not always easy to photograph but fun nonetheless! Here are a few of the two year olds I have photographed recently…

Whoohooo! Hopefully this will solve the 40% bounce rate that was happening on my old site. I am so happy with it.

Operation Love Reunited….I am so proud to be a part of this organization that is able to give back to our military servicemen and their families. I’ve been overwhelmed lately with these sessions and am booked all the way through the summer with them. So many deployments lately! I wish that I could say yes to every family that calls me requesting a session, but unfortunately I just can’t do them all.
I wanted though to share this session that I did for Matt and Danielle. Matt leaves in just a few more weeks to go to Iraq.

I know I’ve been talking about how great the natural light is going to be in the new studio, and yesterday I finally got a chance to run out there and take a few snaps of it so I could show you what I mean. The windows face north so the light is always soft and wonderfully delicious. These were taken at 5 pm on a overcast cloudy day.
Still anticipating early July before we can move over there.
Sorry no posts since April 20! That’s nearly a month. I’ve been so busy I just can’t get to the blog. I have many sessions to throw up here but it will have to wait a bit longer. I’m in full swing of updating my new soon to come website! So many people have been having problems viewing some of the galleries on my current site, and I can’t figure out how to fix the problem, that I just decided to redo the whole darn thing. Sorry dialup users, its going to be a flash site.
No updates on the studio yet, just that I am now anticipating the grand opening to be in the beginning of JULY. Yup, not May, not June, but halfway through summer. I’m very bummed its taken so long, but I can tell you once its done, its going to be an incredible shooting space, with so many more options than I have currently.
