Neugeborener und Schwester | Newborn Photography | Olympia, WA

Newborn and Sister is the name of the title, in case you don’t understand German (which I do not, by the way).

Big sister was 18 months old and not all together interested in having her portraits taken with her beautiful new sister (as most aren’t at this age),   but I have a few tricks up my sleeve and prevailed!  Aren’t they not just two perfect beauties?    I think so!

Newborn “G” at 6 Days Old | Olympia Newborn Photography

When Baby “G” came back in we concentrated on getting a variety of portraits with his mom and dad, and family portraits, as well as adding a few shots that we didn’t get a chance to do in the earlier session.    He fought us hard, but he finally fell asleep at the end.

Adorable Brothers | Children’s Photography in Olympia

6 Year old Beauty | Children’s Photography in Olympia, WA

I absolutely adore this age.   Six.   So happy and carefree.  And this young lady fit right in.   I loved that she totally got into the whole session.    She was the perfect little model–able to follow direction so well and give me not only beautiful smiles, but those non-smiling pensive looks I so love to photograph also.  And did I mention she had fun?  

Oh, and I think of her as our good luck charm, because at the end of the session she asked me about our chickens and if there were any eggs in the hen house.  So I checked for her and was rewarded with our very first Aracauna egg–a blue green egg.   Her mom says she’s still talking about that egg.
