We were able to get down to our little beach for Rachael’s session, and get done before ominous clouds started rolling in. Love love love photographing High School Seniors!

Olympia can be so much fun….all those little alleyways, and fun streets to explore. Â Â I took my daughter down there for her ninth birthday photo shoot and had a blast. Â Â Everyone got a kick out of her jumping up and down with her guitar. Â We even got serenaded by someone who stopped to chat with us about his own band.

I love twilight, just after the sun has set and the sky is all aglow with beautiful colors. Â I took my daughter down to the beach next to our studio and we played around some with my studio lighting (yes, I Â brought my studio gear out to the beach) and she graced me with a few “poses” . Â Don’t you think this beautiful background with the Olympic Mountains and the setting sun on the water would make for perfect high school senior portraits? Â I do!

I have one opening available at 10:30 am for a Limited Edition Session Tolmie State Park on Saturday, September 12. Its supposed to be GORGEOUS that day!
The session includes 40 minutes of beach shooting time, and a $150 print credit, and up to 5 subjects, all for only $250. What a great spot for a family portrait and for Holiday Cards.
Here are some recent shots I took at Tolmie. Isn’t it beautiful there?

It’s always been my approach that families are best photographed in their homes, or on their own property, or a beautiful location, other than in the studio. So when I got the phone call to photograph this beautiful family, I jumped at the chance to photograph them at their house. Isn’t their view just lovely?
