I admit, I worked all morning and into the afternoon. But one has to take a break some time, right? My daughter’s favorite thing to do in the summer when its hot out is play in the mud (which we have a lot of thanks to our moles and a little help from the water hose). I did a whole series of the end result of an hour playing in a mud bath, but this turned out to be my favorite!
I had the honor of photographing a fellow photographer’s girls the other day, and we had so much fun in the studio. I never ever get tired of photographing maternity and newborn sessions. Baby B was the perfect sleepy newborn!
I don’t know what is more my favorite, newborns or babies under a year old. Luckily I’ve had the honor of photographing Baby “A” as a newborn and a 7 month old. Here’s also a few from her newborn session from back in November.
I’ve been so busy with life, etc. that I have pretty much let the blog slack off. Here’s a recent session of a gorgeous baby girl.
I had the pleasure of photographing this family just two years ago when their middle one was a newborn, and am so pleased to have gotten the chance to do it again with Mr. “E” and his two older brothers. I am so impressed with their mom too, who came all the way up from Oregon twice for me, not an easy feat I’m sure with three little ones under the age of 6!
Finally getting around to upating my blog. This was a fun family session with some really great kids! We had a wonderful time.

Well let me explain the title post. Â This newborn’s family is in the onion business. Â I love when parents bring in props that are important to them. Â The more obscure and interesting, the better!!
Isn’t he just beautiful? Â He was such a great sleeper and a content little baby. Â I can’t wait for them to come back with Dad in a few weeks!
Quick sessions work great with little ones this age. Â We worked hard to grab a few great shots before they were done with me. Â Mom was thrilled with the results!
I really enjoyed getting to photograph Rachel for her Capital High School Senior Portraits. Â Â Here’s a few favorites from the session. Â We lucked out on the rain too. Â At the last minute we ran down to the water (right by the studio) and spent a quick 10 minutes in the blustery cold wind.

I photographed this bebe’s older sister just a year ago last June as a newborn, and had the honor of getting to photograph little sister last month.
