I had the honor of photographing a fellow photographer’s girls the other day, and we had so much fun in the studio. Finally getting around to upating my blog. This was a fun family session with some really great kids! We had a wonderful time.

I photographed this bebe’s older sister just a year ago last June as a newborn, and had the honor of getting to photograph little sister last month.
I photographed this little one’s older brother when he was a newborn and I was so excited to get the chance to photograph little “K” too. Â Â This family could not be any sweeter–such a joy to work with!
These little guys were so good for me. Â Â So well behaved that I forgot I was photographing a toddler and newborn together (and trust me, that’s not an easy thing to do.) Â And the Little Bro Big Bro t-shirts were just to die for! Â Here’s a few favorites from their session:

Its that time of year again…..everyone is coming in for family portraits to give as gifts for the holiday season and for greeting cards. Â I got the chance to photograph this fun family two weeks ago in the studio and I was amazed how well their little ones worked with me! 
I’ve gotten the chance to photograph these two children separately over the last year or so, and was thrilled when I got the call to photograph them altogether for family portraits. Â I always love it when everyone matches so beautifully together too. Â

This beautiful newborn definitely ranks up there for fullest head of hair. The blue blanket was his–I love when I can photograph these infants with their own belongings! Their dad called the photo of him and his sister together, where she has her ear up to him “Whispers”. I love it!
Another summer session at my outdoor studio that I haven’t had a chance to post. The girls were absolute angels to photograph.
Little Liam had such a rocky start arriving 7 weeks early, but praise God he is a healthy happy newborn! Â He was 3 weeks old when I had the privilege of photographing him and his family. Â Isn’t he just the sweetest little baby?!?

I think this is one of the prettiest parks in the Olympia/Tumwater area, and I love taking families down to the big rocks for a portrait session. Here’s what we got this hot, bright sunny summer evening.
And then we hopped in the car and headed down to Tumwater Historical Park right down the road and patiently waited our turn for this pretty spot.
Always……ALWAYS be sure to have more than one jar of bubbles when photographing more than one child.
#1 Eager and enthusiastic anticipation of getting to play with bubbles.

#3 Having so much fun with the bubbles that the wand is not needed. Her mouth is making them just fine. 
#4 Hmmmm, not quite ready to give up the bubbles.

So, ok these are not your typical portraits, but I think they are just priceless. Aren’t they just a moment in time of those ages of 1 and 2?
